The Young Entrepreneur award went to Ruusa-Mari Höyhtyä of Mammun Hyväkakku Oy. Höyhtyä founded a sole proprietorship in 2015 and turned her business into Mammun Hyväkakku Oy three years later. For the first two years the cakes were made at home – now the baked goods are created on the company's premises in Kirkonmäki.
In addition to herself, Höyhtyä employs another full-time cake maker and three part-time staff, one of whom runs the company's online shop and another its financial administration. The goal for the future is to start operations in Oulu as well.
