Cake size
Guide to choosing the right cake size.
How much cake should you allow per person? There's no simple answer. Lots of things affect how much cake gets eaten. What kind of party or event is it? What else is being served? How old are the guests? Is it a rich chocolate cake or a lighter cake with a light sponge? Is it summer or winter? Are the guests hungry or already full?
We've put together a guide to help you easily work out what size of cake you need. If none of the sizes seems quite right, or you have lots of guests, you can buy several cakes. It's usually a good idea to order generously so that nobody misses out.
