Are cakes your passion? As our business grows, we are now looking for a master baker in Tampere.
Mammun Hyväkakku Oy is a cake bakery and online cake shop operating in Kokkola and Oulu. We bake our cakes from Finnish ingredients and berries. Most of our sales take place in our online shop hyvakakku.fi, and customers collect their ordered cakes as agreed from the bakery or from the 24h pickup point.
For our new location opening in Lahdesjärvi, Tampere, in the spring, we are looking for a master baker – someone who will take overall responsibility for Hyväkakku's operations in Tampere. We expect you to have a positive, enterprising attitude, flexibility, leadership skills, a customer-service mindset, organisational skills and good stress tolerance. You have a proven track record of making beautiful cakes. Perhaps you have run a cake blog or sold cakes as a home baker.
You will be responsible for running the location profitably. Your duties include processing orders, purchasing ingredients, organising production, supervising staff and, of course, baking cakes. We will hire one cake baker to assist you right away, and more as the business grows.
Depending on your strengths, you will also take part in Hyväkakku's product development and in developing marketing and sales. Hyväkakku's other master bakers will support you in launching and running the operations. At Hyväkakku, you will join a team where everyone is looked after.
Your daily working hours are mainly Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:00. Start date 1 Feb or as agreed. The employment is permanent. Trial period 6 months. Salary as agreed.
