Cake Designer works step by step. First, you choose the size of the cake based on the number of people. Next, allergies are taken into account. As a rule, our cakes are gluten-free and lactose-free. Cakes are also available dairy-free.
Frosting options include whipped cream, caramel whipped cream, buttercream and drips. Drip options are chocolate and marshmallow. You can choose the colour of the marshmallow drip yourself. If you choose a marshmallow drip, it comes with meringue buttercream underneath. There are also many styles of buttercream frosting. Stripes or an ombré effect really brighten up the look of a cake. The naked style shows off the cake's colourful and delicious fillings to full effect. Fillings come in several varieties.

For a more grown-up taste, a great filling is lingonberry. If you're after a slightly more exotic flavour experience, mango-passion fruit or Kuningatar (raspberry & blueberry) is an excellent choice. In addition, the filling selection includes our bakery's own compotes, which are full of Finnish berries.

You can choose more than one filling. We recommend choosing a fresh one and a sweet one to complement each other. Popular combinations include Kuningatar & vanilla, raspberry & white chocolate and lingonberry & caramel. In our fillings, we always use Finnish berries and lactose-free ingredients. The mousses do not contain gelatine.
Almost limitless possibilities for decoration
One of the options in the Cake Designer is Hyväkakku's own decoration. This means a decoration envisioned by the baker. It may include, for example, berries, meringue, macarons and flowers. If you choose berries, the cake is decorated with Finnish berries whenever they are available. Floral decoration is also available.
If you want a particular theme for your cake, or it requires handmade decorations, you can choose fantasy decoration. Fantasy decoration works well for all kinds of occasions, such as themed birthday parties or christenings. Of course, it's also a lovely way to brighten up an everyday coffee table. We always make your wishes come true as far as possible. You can attach reference pictures for our bakers to your order. In the cake gallery on our website, you'll find inspiration and can use the pictures in your order. However, we value our bakers' creativity, so we cannot promise identical cakes. Every cake is a unique piece of handcraft.
Decorations often use products that melt easily, such as sugar paste, macarons and meringues. This means the frosting needs to be buttercream or a drip. For a fantasy cake, you must always choose one of these as the frosting. A food printer allows pictures to be printed onto the cake. Our talented bakers shape stunning decorations out of sugar paste in no time.
