Hyväkakku's tips for serving at a confirmation party

Confirmation parties usually feature both savoury and sweet treats.

A sandwich cake (voileipäkakku) is a popular savoury choice for confirmation parties. Some people like ham, others salmon filling. The safest choice is to offer both. A vegetable filling is also available.

A confirmation cake is an important part of the celebration table. The layer cake is decorated to suit the occasion and the young person. People often want the young person's name and perhaps the date of the confirmation on the cake. Other popular decorations include a confirmation cross pendant and flowers in the theme colours.

The cake decoration can, for example, match the colour of the confirmation gown.

You can order the cake from our ready-made range or create one exactly to your wishes in the Cake Designer.

You can complement the spread with, for example, macarons and mini cupcakes.
